Cake Fiction aims to make each and every event a very special one.  All our cakes are made custom, we do not have ready-made cakes on display for walk-in sales.

Cake Fiction Minimum Prices

Cake Fiction has a minimum order value of $215 for specialty cakes, and $315 for tiered cakes. Custom carved 3-D designs, such as handbags, cars or animals, start at $395. 

We price based on design complexity and servings count. Cake prices start at $9.75 per serving for undecorated buttercream or fondant cake.

Sculpted fondant figurines for specialty cakes start at $25 each.

Remember that we will be designing and creating a unique centerpiece for your event. The final price will depend on the design, ingredients used, complexity of decorations and any accessories or cake toppers that you choose.

Our gourmet cupcakes are $4.50 each or $5.50-$7.50 with matching fondant decorations. Sold in counts of one dozen. 

Decorated fondant cookie favors are popular for bridal showers and baby showers. These cookies, priced at $5.50-7.50 each, are individually wrapped and tied with a fabric bow, with a minimum order of 12 (but only available as an add-on to a specialty cake order).

Cake deposit

All orders must be confirmed with a deposit, before we can block out the date for your event.

How long in advance do you need to book?

Please bear in mind that Cake Fiction takes a steady stream of orders, so if you already have a date in mind for your event, in order to avoid disappointment, then contact me now to ensure we reserve a time slot for crafting your cake. In particular we find popular wedding dates fill up a year in advance, as well as cakes for Christmas and Corporate party dates towards year end. We can usually squeeze in an order for favors, cookies or cupcakes, but still recommend at least one month advance notice, in case you require special ribbons or optional cupcake displays.

Delivery is Available

We take orders from anywhere, but please note our 2 hours delivery radius (which is approximately 100 miles) from Long Valley, NJ. It’s really easy to get here from Metro New York area, so if you have a car, hop in and take a drive out to visit us, it’s beautiful out here with lots of fun things to do in Long Valley, Chester and Hackettstown visiting local farms for picking fruit, tractor rides, corn mazes or just feeding the animals!

The delivery charge starts at $30 (plus tolls) and then $2 per mile thereafter from our boutique cakery and commercial kitchen in Long Valley NJ. 

While we are unable to ship cake, if you need fondant covered cookie favors to match your event theme, these can be shipped to the Continental US via UPS / FedEx Delivery.

How can you Pay?

Cake Fiction accepts payment by Venmo or Zelle, which many customers now find more convenient. You can call to pay with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa and Discover, but NOT Amex) which we process via Square. We also accept personal checks, but no later than two weeks before your event.

For wedding cake orders I hope you will take advantage of our tasting session and I look forward to meeting you then, or otherwise when we deliver and set up your cake ready for your event.
